Religions Study
Saturday, January 12
Our final Young Adults religions study is Saturday evening, January 12th at 6:30 p.m. We have finished the Fritz Ridenour book ("So What's the Difference?") and are wrapping up by talking about some of the different Protestant groups. At this meeting we will discuss Methodists, Pentecostals, Mennonites, Quakers, and Baptists. Meet at Chris & Kristin Neuharth's house at 6:30 p.m.; refreshments will be provided. City-Wide Lutheran Young Adults Bowling
Saturday, January 26
Join the Young Adults groups of St. John’s Lutheran, Peace Lutheran (Arvada), Bethlehem Lutheran and of course Mount Olive for a night of bowling! The goal? To make new friends, increase the connections between churches and share ideas of Young Adults events that each church’s group has hosted. We will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26th at Elitch Lanes, 3825 Tennyson St. Denver, CO. $10 admission includes two hours of bowling and shoes. Super Bowl Party
Sunday, February 3
Unfortunately, this year’s Super Bowl doesn’t have much to do with our Denver Broncos, but come to the Young Adults Super Bowl party anyway! J Enjoy some tasty Bowl grub, watch the big game on a big screen, and get to know some new or old friends better. Several types of chili will be provided; bring along a side, snack, or favorite beverage to share. The party starts at 4:00 p.m. at Tim and Jenny Yotter’s home, 9437 East Arizona Place in Denver. See you there!

Christian Pop Concert: Toby Mac, Jeremy Camp, and Matthew West
Thursday, February 21
With over 10 million combined albums sold, these guys are some of the biggest names in contemporary Christian rock and pop music, and they are coming to Denver this February! Join the Mount Olive Young Adults group for this exciting concert at the Denver Convention Center’s Wells Fargo Theater. Tickets are $25, and seating is limited – so please e-mail dori@moerer.net by February 10th if you would like to go so we can purchase tickets together.

Tubing in Winter Park, CO
Saturday, March 1
We went tubing two years ago and had so much fun that we’re going again in 2008! Join us March 1st for a trip to the Fraser Tubing Hill (complete with tow line!) near Winter Park, and be ready for a good time. We will leave from Mount Olive on Saturday, March 1 at 9:00 a.m. Meet in the front (Iliff) church parking lot. The cost is $17 for an hour of tubing (bring cash – they don’t take credit cards.) We will then stop for lunch together somewhere in Winter Park before we return to Denver.

Serving Up an OASIS Meal
Wednesday, March 12
For a winter service project, the Young Adults will be preparing and serving a Wednesday night “OASIS” meal at Mount Olive on Wednesday, March 12th. Dinner is served starting at 5:00 and ends at 6:30 p.m., so we will need people there before the dinner starts to help prepare the food, people to serve the food during the meal, and then others to clean up afterwards.
