Mount Olive Young Adults - FALL ACTIVITIES 2007

Comparative Religions Study
Saturday Evenings - October 13, November 10, December 8 @ 6:30 pm
The Mount Olive Young Adults is studying different world religions.  This study meets on the second Saturday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  We are basing our study on the book "So What's the Difference?" by Fritz Ridenour.  A book can be purchased for you at no cost; e-mail Dori Moerer (dori@moerer.net) if you would like one.  We're meeting casually in people's homes, so it's a fun, low-pressure environment for all who want to learn about other religions.   Come see what it's all about!  E-mail Dori to find out where the next study will meet.

Christmas Service Event / Ice Skating with the Youth Group
Sunday, December 2nd @ 2:00 pm
This December, the Young Adults Group is going to accompany the Mount Olive Senior Youth group to serve food and hand out coats, gloves, etc. to the homeless at Civic Center Park. Afterward, we'll head over to the BelMar shopping district ice rink (in Lakewood) for some ice skating fun! The cost for Young Adults is $7.00 (for ice skating), and bring along some warm winter clothes (coats, hats, scarves, blankets, etc.) to donate. Meet inside Mount Olive at 1:30; park in the back Wesley Avenue parking lot and come through the brown wooden double doors. If you can come for this event, please RSVP to dori@moerer.net so we know how many can come help.

The Mount Olive Young Adults group was organized to reach out to and connect people in our 20’s and 30’s at Mt. Olive. Feel free to come to any event, and bring a friend! E-mail Dori Moerer (dori@moerer.net) if you have any questions.
