Volunteering at Aurora Interchurch. We helped with some much-needed cleaning, freeing the regular volunteer staff to concentrate on some tasks more directly related to their ministry of assisting families in need around Aurora.

Our current group bible study is a survey of world religions. When we studied Islam, we were joined by Missouri Synod deacon Shakil Nizami, a field missionary to Muslims for "People of the Book Lutheran Outreach" (POBLO). He provided a lot of insightful information about Islam and how we can effectively reach out to Muslims in our community. Thank you, Shakil!
