Volunteering at Aurora Interchurch.
We helped with some much-needed cleaning, freeing the
regular volunteer staff to concentrate on some tasks
more directly related to their ministry of assisting
families in need around Aurora.

Our first-ever "annual" camping
trip.

Showing our support for the Cross of
Christ mission church at their Halloween "Trunk
or Treat" outreach event.

Our current group bible study is a
survey of world religions. When we studied Islam, we
were joined by Missouri Synod deacon Shakil Nizami,
a field missionary to Muslims for "People of the
Book Lutheran Outreach" (POBLO). He provided a
lot of insightful information about Islam and how we
can effectively reach out to Muslims in our community.
Thank you, Shakil!
