LIFE Groups
LIFE Groups at Mount Olive are places where we come together in small groups for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, service and outreach. The word LIFE implies growing. Growing in faith. Growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Growing in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Growing together in the Body of Christ here at Mount Olive. Growing in your service to others. Growing in confidence to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same functions, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:3 (ESV)
“But if we are Living In the light, as God is in the light, then we have Fellowship with Each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 (NLT)
What are LIFE Groups?
LIFE Groups at Mount Olive are places where you can grow:
- In your relationship with Christ (Build)
- In God’s Word (Build)
- In a caring community of people (Care)
- In service to others (Reach)
- In reaching out to others with the good news of Jesus (Reach)
LIFE Groups help each of us live our lives as evidence of a living
faith that brings to us our living Savior.
When do LIFE Groups meet?
LIFE Groups meet at various times to study a topic of interest to their members. The group may also engage in a variety of activities or service projects. Groups meet weekly, twice a month, or monthly. We will work with you to find a group that fits your interests and meets at a convenient time. New LIFE Groups can be started throughout the year as well.
