- Hi! I am the director at Mt. Olive Lutheran ECEC. I received my
BS in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University in Toledo,
Ohio in 1978 and have been in early childhood education since then. In
2002 I received
my Lutheran Colloquy from Concordia University, Irvine. I have been at
Mt. Olive since 1985 and the director since 1995. "I continue
to find joy at being with these little ones every day and am blessed that God
has called me to this place. I love partnering with parents to help
their children grow in faith and learn".
Melissa
Walker - I love kids and am very excited to have been on the staff of the
ECEC since 2007. I received my B.A. in Psychology
from Metro. State College in 1991. From 1991-1999 I taught three and four
year olds in two different preschools. After eight years off to to have my two
children, I am very happy to be back in the classroom! "I believe
children are a precious gift from God. He loans them to us for a very
short time, so we need to fill every possible moment of that time demonstrating
God's love, and teaching our children to do the same."
Michelle
